Home Sweet Home

Tim and I are unofficially first time homeowners. Yep. We're settling down in (use country accent here) Rootstown, Oh-hi-ya.

The home search process went something like this:
10 a.m.: Jess gets email of new home in area. Sends to Tim.
12 p.m.: Tim takes lunch break and drives by house. Calls Jess.
5 p.m.: Jess and Tim look at house. Love it.
10 p.m.: House is theirs. Done. Amen.

See, when you're an Ulbrich, you know a good thing when you see it. You don't mess around. You just go for it and know that all will be well.

At 10 p.m. after we got the call that we had just gone further into debt, it was a calming effect. No tears, no bustin' out the champagne, no celebratory dance (ok, maybe a little). It was like, "Great. Let's go to bed. It's 10 p.m." (Yes, we do live like old people.)

So, on June 10, my 26th birthday, I will officially move into my first house. In Rootstown. Can't wait.
