Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I treated you like a Salem hunted witch and left you hanging.
This past weekend I got to spend some time with my friend Tiffany and her little dog, Lizzy. It was a great weekend and made me appreciate her friendship even more.
First, you all remember Tiffany? She was the cute girl in our wedding and she looks a lot like Kristen Davis from Sex and the City fame.
Tiffany and I met in college. She is also a public relations major. She's all around amazing and has incredible creativity flowing through her brain. After spending a few days with her, I'm so inspired. She lives in Indiana now, so we don't get to see each other as often as we would like, but we catch up via phone as often as we can.
This weekend, we enjoyed some dog time, some girl time, some movie time (saw Eat, Pray, Love...the book practically written about Tiffany and the life she is going to have someday!), some cooking time (making a fresh salad made from organic products) and some hiking time (we explored Cuyahoga Valley National Park on what was possibly the most humid day of the year.)
This is Lizzy. She is fabulous and little and I would keep her if I could.
Here is Tiffany hiking in the National Park, with her camera ever ready.
Tiffany has transitioned into a green, organic lifestyle, so she made a fresh green salad that was full of avocados, apples, swiss cheese, cucumbers and cashews. It was delightful!
I think we all need a friend who can teach us, inspire us, encourage us, and make us become better people.
