We're here!

On Thursday, June 10 we officially became homeowners, or as my dad say, "Girl, you now own a piece of the rock!" We were excited, thrilled...and ok, maybe a little bit nervous, too. This was a big responsibility...a very adult adventure.


It was a surreal moment walking through the house for the first time knowing it was finally ours. Each room had a different meaning, a new possibility.




And the best moment was later that night when we brought over some ice cream cake and Ava and Adora. That's when it started to feel more like home...when all of us got to be there together and have ice cream on the back deck.


We're excited for the adventures to come and the memories to be made here. After three days of unpacking, it's starting to feel more like home. I think the girls like it. Looks like Ava has already claimed her "spot" by the window. What do you think?
